Battlefield 3: How to Remove HUD, Battlerecorder Coming? And … a new Easter Egg!

To remove the HUD in Battlefield 3, use the new console command “UI.Drawenable 0“.

I can see how this can be useful for making nice community videos and such, especially when DICE release the Battlerecorder for Battlefield 3 – yes, due to popular demand, DICE are said to actually be working on it, however no official information has been given yet about when it will be made available.

    I like this for recording video, but do have one issue still, would like to be able to remove player weapon/hands from the filed of view as well, for a pure camera effect.

    Hi Pako,

    Currently there’s no command to achieve this effect, but some people have achived it through something called the “No gun glitch”. Check out this tutorial video on Youtube, maybe it can help you:
